Three star cars get burnt out as a transporter truck catches fire on highway

Cars that feature in certain movies and TV series can sometimes become as popular as their human counterparts. Many car enthusiasts go to great costs to produce replicas of these cars. Car Chase Heroes, run by Blendini Motorsport specialize in the real deal. Seeing an opportunity in this nostalgia led market, they began to stock and prepare star cars that had previously appeared in popular shows for customers to drive. Tom Roche, founder of Car Chase Heroes told UK classic car publication AutoClassics that thankfully they did not lose any irreplaceable vehicles. The three cars were a Porsche Turbo, and a which featured in the Transformers. Roche went on to say, ‘All of those are easily replaced unlike a lot of the cars that the fire service managed to save with their quick work.’ Some of the other cars on the transporter included a genuine ‘General Lee’ Dodge Charger R/T, a replica of the 1966 Batmobile, Starks and Hutch spec Ford Gran Torino and what appears to be an ‘80s Pontiac Firebird in Knight Rider livery.
