Can you tell this was once the stock model?
In our humble opinion, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is one of the finest cars of our generation, with the Black Series variant being the ultimate expression of this phenomenal supercar. As far as we’re aware, there will be , a car that succeeded the SLS but in no way replaced it, making the SLS Black even more special. Built in limited numbers, not everyone was fortunate enough to get their hands on the SLS Black. But that didn't stop one man from getting his dream car.
German tuning house Inden Design is now offering a solution to owners of the stock SLS with its Black Series upgrade package. With 25 years experience modifying supercars, the aftermarket firm was tasked by a client to transform their SLS into the range-topping Black Series. And as you can see, the results are stunning. The first step was to remove all the body parts before carefully adding their original Black Series equivalents, including a new hood, fenders, front apron, side sills and rear apron. To ensure a precise fit and finish, the connectors between the side sills and rear apron were custom made from carbon fiber.
The carbon package offered with the Black Series was added to the interior, while a slew of bespoke parts were also fitted to the car to ensure its exclusivity. Certain sections were plastic laminated while the entire underbody received an ice-blast technology treatment. The chassis was further enhanced with a set of KW coilover springs, a stainless-steel valve exhaust, and a set of BBS-F1 trims staggered 20/21 inches front/rear. Finally, the engine received a remapped ECU, boosting output from 563 to 626 horsepower.
