This has to be the laziest way to celebrate a 30th anniversary.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of renowned Porsche tuner Techart, and to celebrate that milestone it’s releasing a new special edition of its popular Cayenne-based Magnum Sport SUV. Following the insane 710-horsepower , the special 30th anniversary edition Magnum Sport cranks up the power of the to 720-hp, and boasts the usual array of cosmetic Cayenne modifications we’ve come to expect from the tuner since the original Magnum launched in 2004.
Available for the entire Cayenne range, distinguishing the muscular Magnum Sport is a three-part front splitter featuring additional winglets inside the massive air intakes, while a front apron design and splitter makes the Cayenne appear lower to the ground to “create the impression of a solid, wide stance appearance.” Adding to its aggressive appearance are beefy wheel arch extensions, and sporty side skirts, as well as a carbon fiber rear diffuser, rear spoiler and tailpipes. Power output for the special edition remains identical to the Magnum S released last year, giving you 720-horsepower to play with between 5,400 and 6,000 rpm when enabling Sport mode, or 650-hp in normal driving conditions.
It’s in the handcrafted interior where you’ll find any notable new flourishes in the special edition, or the 'Techart Edition “30 years,”' to give it its official name. Leather and alcantara materials are complemented with lacquered carbon fiber elements, the center seat areas are finished in an attractive Magnum Sport design, and the instrument and Sport Chrono gauge dials and decorative stitching get special color highlights. Oh, and the interior and exterior are plastered with numerous 30th anniversary badges. This has to be one of the laziest 30th anniversary cars ever.
