Bond, as in James Bond.
James Bond has always driven some incredible vehicles and the BMW Z8 in the film "The World Is Not Enough" is one of the greatest cars. The German roadster is one of the most desirable of all Bond cars and is highly sought after. An incredible opportunity for one lucky Bond fan has just come up thanks to RM Auctions. There’s no word on how much this vehicle will go for, but similar vehicles are going for roughly $300,000, so it’s safe to assume that this vehicle will fetch around the same price when it goes up for auction in January.
The incredible Z8 was introduced in 1999 and looked extremely similar to the Z07 concept that BMW revealed at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show. Under the elegant hood lies an M5-based 4.9-liter V8 producing 400 horsepower. The roadster’s beautiful chassis utilizes aluminum, which keeps the vehicle’s weight down while keeping the car’s rigidity up. According to RM Auctions, this pristine example only has 550 miles on the clock, the original window sticker, books and removable hardtop. While we don’t know how much the vehicle will sell for, it’s safe to say that this incredible example will go for more than the $130,000 base price when it crosses the block in January. By the way, this isn't the actual Bond car. We're sorry.
