Only 20 examples of the "100 ans Bugatti" edition will be made.
. . . These are just a few of the special editions that the Bugatti Veyron spawned over the course of its ten-year life. Its successor, the Chiron, on sale for approximately three years now, has begotten the more and the , but there had yet to be a true special edition Chiron. Until now.
2019 marks the 110th anniversary of Ettore Bugatti’s first creation, the Type 10, and Bugatti has decided to honor the occasion by creating the Chiron Sport "110 ans Bugatti.”
An homage to both Bugatti’s illustrious past and its home in Molsheim, France, the "110 ans Bugatti” is limited to just 20 units. Coated in matte "Steel Blue” paint, this Chiron harkens back to the days when French race cars were identified by their blue hue. Unlike the early days of motorsport, the front end is swathed in exposed carbon fiber.
The interior is also treated to a dose of carbon fiber on the steering wheel, steering column, and seat trims. Other materials include Deep Blue leather, Alcantara on the seat backs and doors, and French Racing Blue as a contrast on the seats edges, storage compartments, and seat belts.
The French tricolor decorates the Chiron inside and out. The iconic colors from the flag are embroidered on the headrests, seat backs, and at the 12 o’clock point on the steering wheel, while on the outside, the tricolor adorns the mirrors, fuel cap, and the underside of the rear wing.
"Nocturne” matt black alloys hide brake calipers painted in French Racing Blue, and the hand-polished aluminum fuel cap can be painted in blue or white if the customer desires. The exhaust system, spoiler mechanism, and Bugatti logo match the wheels in matte black, and the Sky View roof option, made up of two fixed glass panels over the seats, comes standard on this Chiron.
As the first in what we can only assume will be a long line of Chiron special editions, the "110 ans Bugatti” is a stunning piece of automotive art-and of course, being a Chiron Sport, a mightily quick machine.
