Well, kind of.
It’s apparently the – turn them into Lego sets. And now Dodge and Lego have teamed up with the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon and the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T sets, both part of the Lego Speed Champions series. The marketing campaign is actually quite big, consisting of a new 30-second TV commercial, called "Metamorphosis”, along with utilizing other social media outlets, specifically Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. The new Lego sets do their best to replicate the real deals.
For example, the Challenger SRT Demon features two sets of wheel rims with rubber tires, rear spoiler, dual exhaust, authentic design details, and even decorative stickers. The Charger R/T comes with a removable supercharger, translucent light-style elements, and an alternate engine cover.
Both sets also include mini figure drivers and a race marshal. Both sets are sold separately and go on sale shortly and Dodge will even offer a limited number directly from its official website. Pricing for each set has yet to be announced but the currently on sale Lego Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG GT3 costs about $20, while the . Neither price is hard for most adults to afford, but the typical 10-year-old will have to shovel a few driveways this winter to earn the necessary dough.
